ABOUT ME​
Hello! I'm Michaela
I am an undergraduate student at Southern Utah University studying Family Life and Human Development with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development. I have grown up loving young children and their adorable little personalities. Growing up in small town Utah, I had plenty of opportunities to babysit neighbors children and recognize my love for being around children. My dream is to one day be a mother to my own children and enjoy them and their individual personalities for the rest of my life.

I was responsible for giving customer service to all of the guests traveling with Holland America Line or Princess Cruises were getting what they needed to make sure that their vacation was enjoyable.

SNOW COLLEGE DANCE ENSEMBLE
I was in charge of technically cleaning, enhancing, and choreographing dance pieces for the Snow College Dance Ensemble. I also was responsible for outreaching to the community to find performance opportunities for my dancers.

I was responsible for paperwork, phones, some student records, providing correct information, and providing assistance to the students of Snow College.

For my project, I decided to make a large file of ready to go lesson plans for a young preschool age children. The lessons range in subject and have all of the materials ready to go that are needed to participate in the activity. Now that the project is finished, there is a total of 38 lesson plans ready for use on a rainy day.

REFLECTIONS
Throughout the process, I realized how difficult it is to find and prepare good lesson plans. But now that the project is complete, I am so glad for the preparation it will allow me to have in the future. I could not imagine trying to prepare these lessons in a situation when things are a little crazy. Scrambling to put together a lesson plan never goes well and the children never get as much out of the lesson when it is not well thought through. I am very excited for an opportunity to put some of these to use and see all of my hard work pay off.
